13/04/2022

The Times called Vietnam a “rising star” in Southeast Asia when it opened in mid-March and encouraged tourists to visit.

The Times quoted famous chef Anthony Bourdain as saying: “Once you love Vietnam, you will love this place forever”. Here are the tours recommended by the British newspaper for this year.
The first is the Go Wild journey lasting 21 days, which includes many outdoor activities such as cycling, kayaking, exploring caves, bird watching, watching turtles lay eggs… Recommended itinerary: Hanoi – Van Long, Ninh Binh – Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park, Quang Binh (photo) – Hoi An, Quang Nam – Con Dao, Ba Ria – Vung Tau. Ultimate Vietnam is a journey for travelers who love luxury resorts, when checking-in at 4-5 star hotels. Your driver will take you around Hanoi in a vintage car, followed by a food tour with top chefs. Leaving the capital, tourists relax on a cruise in Ha Long Bay and visit the limestone mountains from above by helicopter. Next, walk around Ho Chi Minh City on an antique vespa, go to a floating market in the Mekong Delta and end the experience at one of the luxury resorts in Con Dao. Photo: Scarlet Pearl

The next recommended tour is Classic Mekong. Accordingly, international tourists will start to explore Angkor Wat, Phnom Penh of Cambodia and then follow the Mekong to enter Vietnam. After visiting vibrant Ho Chi Minh City, visitors spend a few days exploring Hoi An before visiting Hanoi. The 16-day trip ended in Ha Long Bay. Photo: Dac Thanh

Vietnam real food Adventure is an 11-day trip for food enthusiasts. Describing motorbikes as king in Vietnam, the Times still encourages visitors to challenge themselves with a 15-day cycling tour called Cycling Vietnam, with a journey from Ho Chi Minh City to Da Lat. Visitors will cycle through pine forests, coffee plantations and strawberries in Dalat, and head to Khanh Hoa to follow the beautiful sea route. The journey continues to take visitors across Hai Van pass. From there, visitors take the train to the North, go to Ha Long Bay to kayak and relax. Photo: Diem Dang Dung
