Many countries consider Vietnam a safe destination
19/04/2022France considers Vietnam a green zone; Germany has removed Vietnam from the list of high risk of infection.
On March 3, Germany removed 60 countries and territories from the list of areas with high risk of disease transmission, including Vietnam. This decision is based on how widespread the Omicron strain is.
Vietnamese visitors to Germany are exempted from home isolation for 10 days and do not need to make an online medical declaration. However, travelers 12 years of age or older must present a negative test result, or a certificate of Covid-19 recovery, and a certificate of two vaccinations.
Previously, the German newspaper Stuttgarter Nachrichten suggested that tourists should go to Vietnam, which began welcoming international visitors from March 15. Reasons to visit Vietnam that the newspaper gives include delicious food, beaches, Mekong Delta, old town, beautiful natural scenery. Suggested destinations are Hanoi, Hoi An, Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park and Quang Ninh.

On March 2, the Russian tourism agency assessed Vietnam as a safe tourist destination and did not have any restrictions for visitors from this country. The remaining countries on the list are Turkey, Egypt, Tunisia, UAE, China, India.
With France, visitors from green areas, including Vietnam, are allowed to enter without restriction. From February, the country removed the requirement to present negative Covid-19 results for guests who received two doses of the vaccine.
Guests who have not had enough vaccines are still required to comply with this regulation, but they are not required to be tested or quarantined upon entry if they come from countries on the green list. Guests who have not been vaccinated, have a negative test certificate from orange countries still have to give a compelling or necessary reason for the trip; and random testing upon entry.
