Currently, the volume of transportation through Noi Bai airport, especially domestic transportation, is expected to reach 400 flights per day and about 75,000 domestic passengers. In 2021, on average, the peak week of April 30, including domestic tourists, Noi Bai receives about 420 trips and nearly 64,000 visitors each day.

Previously, a representative of the Southern Airport Authority said that the 25L runway of Tan Son Nhat airport will be reopened at the end of April, after about two months of temporary closure. A representative of the management unit said that the fact that the airport currently only operates one runway does not affect the frequency of flights or passenger service because the number of passengers increases not much on the peak days of the anniversary of the ancestors’ death.
