Masan starting a project of 3,500 billion VND in Song Hau Industrial Park


Masan’s food industry center has a scale of 46 hectares, located in Song Hau Industrial Park-phase 1.

On July 7th, Hau Giang Provincial People’s Committee approved the investment policy and approved the investor, Masan Group Joint Stock Company (Stock code: MSN) as the project of Western Food Industry Center 2.

Western Food Industry Center 2 has an investment capital of 3,500 billion VND, of which Masan’s contributed capital to the project is 1,050 billion VND, and the remaining mobilized capital is 2,045 billion VND. The project use scale is 46 ha, including 4 subdivisions.

Subdivision 1 includes a food factory (pasta, seasoning, beverage, starch products,…) with an area of ​​​​about 21 hectares.

Subdivision 2 is a factory producing canned, bottled, and draft beer of all kinds, with an area of ​​about 7.8 hectares, with a capacity of 100 million liters/year.

Subdivision 3 is a factory producing cosmetics, soaps, detergents, polishes, and sanitary products, with an area of ​​about 8.9 hectares, with a capacity of 400,000 tons/year.

Subdivision 4 is used for warehouses and factories for rent, with an area of ​​​​about 8.33 hectares, for companies within Masan Group to rent as warehouses of raw materials, warehouses for finished products, and storage yards for goods.

The project is built in Song Hau Industrial Park – phase 1, Chau Thanh district, Hau Giang province. Time to prepare legal documents and implement project procedures from December this year to December 2023. The project is expected to be completed by December 2029. The project operation period is 50 years from the date the investor decided to lease the land.
