Pioneering in paving the way for comprehensive tourism development, Sun Group is the only enterprise in Vietnam to receive the award “Asia’s leading travel group in 2022”.
The World Travel Awards (WTA) has just honored Sun Group as “Asia’s Leading Travel Group in 2022”. This is the first time a Vietnamese tourism enterprise has received the World Travel Awards (WTA), which is considered the “Oscar of the world tourism industry”. Sun Group is recognized by the organizers as meeting three factors: Owning a comprehensive tourism development model with products recognized by the world; the influence and contribution of businesses to the general tourism picture of the country and the region and has a long history and a vision of sustainable tourism development in the future.
Mr. Graham Cooke – Chairman and Founder of WTA affirmed: “In my opinion, corporations like Sun Group have been at the forefront of pioneering the way to comprehensive tourism development, not only in Vietnam. but also in the world. I think that even in my own country, England, this recipe for success can be learned.”
Choose the difficult path
Comprehensive investment in tourism, resort, and entertainment is an area that not all businesses dare to do and do successfully. Because this is an industry that requires a large amount of investment capital, while the payback period is long and requires long-term, regular investment to elevate the destination and approach trends with development and change. continuity of tourism trends in the world. Sharing the same opinion, Graham Cooke affirmed: “In terms of comprehensive tourism development, there are very few companies in the world like Sun Group that actively pioneer in this field.”
But right after returning home to establish a business in 2007, the founders of Sun Group chose the path that not many people go there. Up to now, hundreds of resorts and entertainment projects as well as tourism infrastructure have been created by this group. Contributing to raising the level of Vietnamese tourism
