After more than 17 years in the restaurant and food business, Golden Gate is the first enterprise to open a service cluster of canteens – coffee – convenience supermarkets in a hospital in Hanoi.
The first project at Bach Mai Hospital includes a canteen with a capacity of serving 1,600 customers, 4,500 meals per day. In addition, the service cluster has a coffee shop and a supermarket.
According to Dan Tri, in the past, Bach Mai Hospital did not have a unit to provide meals but had a clinical nutrition center, using pathological meals taken from other units. Doctor Doan Thu Tra, Deputy Director of the Center for Tropical Diseases, Chairman of the Trade Union of Bach Mai Hospital, said that the hospital bid publicly and Golden Gate was the winning unit.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Hoang Quoc Khanh – Operation Director of Golden Gate Group, said the utility service cluster was built by professional elements focusing on customer experience and shared with the hospital towards values for the community.
Talking more about the general plan of Golden Gate, the business representative said that there are plans to open 600 more restaurants, bringing the total number to over 1,000 points and aiming for a revenue of 1 billion USD in the next few years. Thereby, becoming the leading enterprise in the F&B industry in Vietnam.
In 2021, due to the direct impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, the Group suffered a loss of 431 billion dong for the first time, with a loss of 431 billion dong. Specifically, Golden Gate’s revenue reached VND3,318 billion in net revenue, down 27% compared to the previous year. In which, revenue from selling food and beverages reached VND 3,304 billion, accounting for 99.6% of the company’s revenue structure. In the past 4 years, this is the lowest revenue of Golden Gate.
In 2022, Golden Gate targets net revenue of VND6,878 billion, an increase of 107.3% compared to last year and a profit after tax of VND375 billion after the company has the participation of a group of shareholders from Singapore.
