  • Overview

    The 9th edition of Food & Hotel Vietnam (FHV) concluded its 3-day event on 27 April 2017 with strong emphasis as the Vietnam’s leading trade show for F&B and Hospitality industry. Held across 11,100 square meters of the Saigon Exhibition & Convention Center (SECC), FHV 2017 played host to 613 established equipment and service providers, agents and distributors from 38 countries and regions. There was also a strong line-up of 20 international group pavilions including Australia, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Korea, Malaysia, Philippines, Poland, Singapore, Spain, Taiwan, Turkey, Ukraine and USA.

  • Vietnam Barista Competition 2017 (VBC2017)
    Vietnam Latte Art Competition 2017 (VLAC2017)

    The competitions attracted 51 candidates who challenged with serving one beverage from all three categories of drinks including: espresso, milk beverage and signature beverage. Baristas who become a champion will represent Vietnam at Barista Super Duo Challenge 2018 which is held concurrently with Food&HotelAsia2018 in Singapore. Below is the list of winners
    • VBC2017 Champion: Mr. Le Hoang Duy – Perfetto
    • VBC2017 First Runner-up: Mr. Cao Chi Dat – Barista School
    • VBC2017 Second Runner-up: Mr. Tran Huy Cuong – Trung Nguyen
    • VLAC2017 Champion: Ms. Hoang Thi Thu Thao – Shin Coffee

     

    Vietnam Culinary Challenge 2017 (VNCC2017)

    The competition successfully attracted 255 entries from 144 passionate chefs, especially those who from top notch restaurants and hotels around Vietnam. There are 4 talented chefs and 2 teams won the highest prizes.
    • The Grand Champion: Chef Watcharapong Chareonwimonrak from Thailand Culinary Academy
    • The Vietnamese Cuisine Champion: Chef Tran Quoc Dat from Saigon Professional Chefs’Guild
    • The Hot Cooking Champion: Chef Sangthian Singkaew from Thailand Culinary Academy
    • Best Artist: Chef Vo Tien Ngo from The Grand Fourwings Convention Hotel Bangkok
    • The Best Culinary Establishment – Thailand Culinary Academy
    • The Champion of “Spices of Indochina Challenge” team competition – Thailand Culinary Academy
