Advisory on Novel Coronavirus (Wuhan)

foodnhotelvietnam - April 9, 2020

Dear Participants,

Informa Markets in Vietnam continues to monitor the developments of the Novel Coronavirus which first emerged from Wuhan, China in December of 2019.

The safety of our customers and our staff is always our top priority. As such, we are taking precautions and safety measures as recommended by the local government authorities as well as the World Health Organisation (WHO) seriously.

Vietnam remains a safe travel destination. The Vietnamese Government, including its Ministry of Health (MOH) and all related departments, is closely monitoring the situation and has taken prevention actions and measures against the Novel Coronavirus.

At the same time, the Prime Minister has established a National Steering Committee for prevention and control of the epidemic and considered that fighting this epidemic is the top priority task for all Party committees, authorities and mass communication. MOH has set up 45 Emergency Response Team to treat quickly to any reports of the virus and provide professional information and supports to citizens and local hospitals.

We encourage all participants, particularly those who have travelled to China to monitor their health and to seek immediate medical attention should they feel unwell or show any related symptoms.

“We wish to thank each and every customer who has supported us on Food & Hotel Vietnam and greatly appreciate your patience and understanding. The Food & Hotel Vietnam team is working diligently to ensure that Food & Hotel Vietnam will be a success.”
