Vietnam welcomes the return of Food & Hotel Vietnam in 2019 – international food & drinks, bakery, hotel, foodservice equipment, supplies and services exhibition in its 10th anniversary edition, taking place at Saigon Exhibition & Convention Center (SECC) from 24th to 26th April 2019 . This year’s show promises to display a strong line-up of products together with diversity of alongside activities. An exhibition space is filled with not only attractive scents from variety of food & drinks, but also plenty of specialized industrial tools and equipment.

Welcome the new joiners to Food & Hotel Vietnam 2019

Food & Hotel Vietnam 2019 welcomes 466 exhibitors from 36 different nations and regions to total exhibition space reached 12,500 square meter – widens show scale to Hall A3 and Hall A4 for the first time. This year’s event simultaneously greets 22 international group pavilions including: Belgium (2), Canada, Taiwan, Denmark, Germany, Korea, Malaysia, United States, France, Singapore, Spain, Turkey, China and Australia (2), especially the new pavilions: Ireland, Poland, Netherlands and Russia (3).

In conjunction with the international pavilions, the show also receives support from associations, organizations and first-rated businesses. The most out-standing stall in Ireland group pavilions is Bord Bia, with a number of products made from beef, pork, and organic fruits. Bord Bia comes to the show with the hope for developing brand towards Ireland food supplies, and introducing Ireland cuisine to the world, especially in Vietnam.

Polish pavilion, organized by National Support Centre for Agriculture – KOWR, also introduces plenty of particular agricultural products from Poland. Dutch Meat Production Association is a prestigious association from Netherlands group pavilion, specialized in products and finished products made from meat, attains 85% of total revenues in meat production industry with annual revenue has reached 1 million euro.

Russian Group Pavilion brings to the show Altai Group – a popular label, specialized in hiking and adventure travel with 28 representative offices all over the world. Besides, Primorsk, Omsk and Voronezh are also the well-known brands presenting Russian specific products at Food & Hotel Vietnam 2019.

Feast your eyes on Vietnam Culinary Challenge

Over many years of hosting, “Vietnam Culinary Challenge” became a prestigious competition which attracts a number of overseas and local candidates. Under the organization of Saigon Chefs Professional, this event is supposed to be a chance not only to exchange knowledge, experiences, and share professional skills among the participants, but also an occasion for the professionals to introduce culinary expertise and service to hospitality industry and the public.

During three competing days, the examinees will experience many challenges with diverse competition content consist of: Asian – European hot dishes, sweetmeat and vegetables carving.

Up to now, “Vietnam Culinary Challenge” has attracted more than 150 culinary enthusiasts from different countries, those are ready to show their culinary expertise, receive medal and be certified by the organization.

Vietnam Hospitality Managing Director Forum CEOTALKS – the most expected alongside event

Wellness Tourism has been a great potential tourism model in smokeless industry, predicted to be a brand new trend that could make a change in thinking and philosophy of business in worldwide hotel industry. Discovering all the workshop programs exclusively for the baristas

Aiming to help the professionals and amateurs in bartending of Vietnam achieve their passion and their love to the fullness, Food & Hotel Vietnam 2019 especially brings two workshops titled “SCA Barista Skill Foundation” and “Barista & Coffee Experience Program”.

Formerly the most impressive bartender competition known as Vietnam Barista Compertition, was replaced by a new training course – named as SCA Barita Skill Foundation. The organizers hope that they can bring the lessons and training programs to Vietnamese Barista, led by lecturers with Certification of Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) – Mr. Ross Bright. Trainees will gain the strong foundation as well as the international standard bartending skill. After completing the course, trainees particularly receive magisterial certification from SCA.

Barista & Coffee Experience Program is a workshop designed for amateurs and beginners. Attendees will learn general and essential knowledge through the course such as brewing coffee, tips on how to make a standard espresso or cold brew. In addition, the information about coffee market and managing methods to ensure the coffee quality are the crucial features for coffee business start uppers.
