Food & Hotel Vietnam 2019: Fifteen years – One road

After ten years of hard working and continuous developing, the international food & drinks, hotel, restaurant, bakery & foodservice equipment, supplies & services exhibition and conference – Food & Hotel Vietnam 2019 – will officially be back from 24th to 26 April, 2019 at Saigon Exhibition & Conference Center (SECC). The show is once again poised to offer significant networking opportunities for businesses to stay ahead of the curve and keep abreast of the latest industry culinary trends and product innovations.

Experiencing 9 times held extremely successful, Food & Hotel Vietnam 2019 is deeply entrenched as a dynamic industry hub, helping food and hospitality sectors in Vietnam and beyond to evolve and advance.
Covering 10,000 square meters of hall space and hall A3, the exhibition will present exhibit categories such as Food, Drinks & Beverages; Dairy Products; Meat & Poultry, Bakery & Confectionery Equipment; Bar, Coffee & Beverage Equipment; Foodservice & Catering Equipment; Cleaning and Washing Equipment; and many more. This year’s event attracts more than 650 exhibitors from 38 countries and regions – including 15 international group pavilions from Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Taiwan, Germany, Korea (2), Malaysia, USA, France, Philippines, Singapore, Spain, Turkey and Australia.
Lots of interesting activities and educational seminars will be held in conjunction with the exhibition. Many key industry players have also confirmed their participation, including An Nam, Anh Duong, New Viet Diary, Boncafe, Charles Wembley, Chengxin, Dai Tan Viet, Holafoods, Minh Long I, Sunshine Equipment Co., amongst others.

The return of “Vietnam Culinary Challenge 2019”

Organised by the Saigon Professional Chefs Guild, Vietnam Culinary Challenge (VNCC) has established itself as the Vietnam’s most prestigious culinary competition dedicated to promoting local culinary excellence. The 8th edition of VNCC is THE arena for professional chefs in Vietnam and beyond to pit their skills against one another in a three-day series of ‘cook-offs’ for the coveted title of Grand Champion.
Held alongside FHV2017, Vietnam Culinary Challenge 2017 (VNCC) was a grand cooking competition that engaged culinary enthusiasts to spotlight their cooking talents and encourage their development. 255 individual contestants along with 3 teams gathered to compete in various challenges such as Vietnam cuisine, hot cooking, pastry, fruits and vegetables carving, where Mr. Watcharapon Chareonwimonrak from the Thailand Culinary Academy was crowned grand champion.

Educational workshops and seminars

More than a product showcase, the event will also host concurrent educational programs and industry competitions attract attendance from a hundred of chefs and bartenders, with evaluation of prestigious international examiners.
“Barista workshop” is a short – term coffee course held alongside the exhibition for the first time. The workshop promises an ideal platform for baristas from across the country to learn about coffee and coffee beverage from top barista professors. Attendees who participate in all training classes and finish all training tasks will receive a diploma from Food & Hotel Vietnam 2019’s organizer.
