Raise your talent with “Vietnam Culinary Competition 2019”
Co – organizing with Saigon Professional Chef’s Guild, Food & Hotel Vietnam 2019 brings back the well – known competition among Vietnamese chef’s community – Vietnam Culinary Competition 2019. This is an opportunity for competitors from all over the world to show up their skills, compete against one another and receive evaluation from popular board of judges. The competition receives strong support from Equatorial Hotel, Vietnam Airline, USA pavilion (USAPEEC, USMEF, US Potato Board, USMEF – Pork) and other associations.
This year’s Vietnam Culinary Competition is expected to draw up the attention of more than 250 competitors from all over the world, competing in different sessions such as Asian & European cuisines and sculpture with fruits & vegetables. At the end of each competition day, standout competitors will receive awarded medals and certificates from the judges.
The very first talkshow for Vietnamese hospitality at Food & Hotel Vietnam 2019
Held in conjunction with the exhibition, a talkshow of wellness services in hospitality for industry’s owners – Vietnam Hospitality Managing Director Forum (CEO Talks), will be taken place on 25th April 2019, from 8:30 AM to 12:30PM at Convention Room, floor 2, Saigon Exhibition & Convention Center (SECC).
With the topic “Riding the wellness wave”, CEOTalks offers industry experts and investors a comprehensive view of wellness tourism trend through different sessions. Mr. Tran Quoc Khanh, familiar host of business talkshow such as Startup Café, The Quoc Khanh Show, FBNC Channel, will be CEOTalks’ s moderator. Joining the event will be well – known industry speakers of Vietnamese top hotels and restaurants like Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Hoa, Deputy Director, Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism; Ms. Nguyen Thanh Binh, Deputy Director – Hotel Department, Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT); Mr. Mauro Gasparotti, Director, Savills Hotels, SEA; Mr. Atilla Erda, Chief Operating Officer, Fusion; Mr. Dawid Koegelenberg, General Manager, Fusion Resort Cam Ranh and Ms. Chau Thi Hoang Mai, Director, Alba Spa Hotel and Albe Hotel, Senior Sales Manager of Alba Hospitality.
Short – term trainings and interesting workshops
Replacing the annual barista competition is a short – term training named “SCA Barista Skills Foundation” for non-professional baristas. Attendees will be directly trained by Mr. Ross Bright – Master Roaster and Barista Trainer, who owns years of experience as international barista competitions’ judge. Finishing the course and attendees will be granted the Specialty Coffee Association’s certification.
Another workshop program named “Barista & Coffee Experience Program” offering coffee making techniques, startup experiences and successful business tips. The workshop will be moderated by Mr. Michael Ryan – International Barista Competition’s judge; Manager of Jimmy Monkey Café Brand. He owns himself twenty – five – year experience for food & beverage Italian industries.
Food & Hotel Vietnam 2017 was successfully concluded. The show attracted a total visitor count of 12.842 inbound & outbound attendees, increased by 17.3% compared with the previous edition. The event boasts prestigious rendezvous and credibility, is the leading choice for enterprises in the industry.
